What is Guess the Score?

Guess the Score is a free football score prediction game. You predict the scoreline of each match in a gameweek, earn points based on how accurate your predictions are, and compete against friends and other players on the leaderboard.

Is Guess the Score free to play?

Yes. Guess the Score is completely free to play. Sign up with an email address and start predicting.

How does scoring work?

You earn 3 points for correctly predicting the result of a match (a home win, away win or draw) and a further 5 points for predicting the exact scoreline. Because an exact scoreline is also a correct result, a perfect prediction is worth 8 points.

Which competitions can I make predictions for?

You can predict matches from the Premier League and the World Cup.

What are wildcards?

Wildcards are one-time boosts you can play on a gameweek to multiply or double the points you earn — for example doubling the points for correct results or for exact scores. Each wildcard can be used once.

Can I play in a private league with friends?

Yes. You can create your own private league and invite friends to join, then compete on a dedicated league leaderboard alongside the global standings.

When do my predictions lock?

You can enter and edit your predictions for a match at any time up until it kicks off. Once a match has started, its prediction is locked.
